Only 10% of the Aquilarea trees are naturally infected by fungi that then create "OUD". Nowadays, however, there are no more trees infected naturally. Therefore, the natural OUD is produced by specific Southeast Asian companies that have their own plantations. These companies are highly controlled and must respect the standards of sustainable development.
